DISPATCH STAFF
The dispatcher plays the lead role in a smoothly operating ambulance communications system. The dispatchers at American Professional Ambulance are all dedicated, highly trained technicians, responding instantly to all requests for emergency transportation. All of our dispatchers are Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, and CPR certified. Each is required to complete a minimum of one-year field experience prior to holding a dispatch position. This experience allows the dispatcher to understand the pre-hospital emergency medical system, and the needs of EMTs, paramedics and hospital medical personnel.

Twenty-Four Hour Dispatch/Communication Center
American Professional offers state-of-the-art dispatch, communications and computerized data management systems for use in monitoring and managing medical transportation resources. This system enables American Professional to provide our facilities and coverage areas with rapid response times twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week.

COMPUTER ASSISTED DISPATCH
The cornerstone of our Dispatch Center is our state of the art EMS CAD solution that makes our entire operation more efficient. Whether we’re fielding emergency calls or scheduling routine pickups, Rescue Net Dispatch’s leading-edge architecture brings unmatched efficiency to our dispatch center. This multi dispatcher, distributed call taking system which operates on a Microsoft Windows 7 platform and is designed specifically to assist our dispatchers in proper information gathering and documentation.
This CAD System has greatly reduced not only the time required to gather information regarding an emergency, but the time required to evaluate the situation, locate the incident, and dispatch the most appropriate unit on the call, affording maximum efficiency in meeting the needs of system coverage.

A special feature provided by American Professional Ambulance is our direct phone line installation. These lines offer facilities a direct link to our dispatch and communication center. This interface provides an immediate connection to an American Professional Dispatcher, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
